Renovation and expansion of the existing Monroe Township Community Center, New Jersey. The design celebrates the community center as a bridge between the old and new. In line with the recreational use of the facility, a whimsical roof form pays homage to an existing skateboard park at the site that had to be relocated for the expansion.
