Project Description
MAKOKO HEALTH CENTRE
Makoko /Iwaya Waterfront community, Lagos
A Pro-bono concept design for a primary healthcare center in response to the desperate need in the community for a good medical facility, with particular emphasis on pregnant women and child care.
The design features sustainability systems for electric power, water supply and waste management as well as modular construction assemblies easily transportable to the site and erected with heavy machinery. Finishes proposed are locally produced materials.
